For tensile force, 6mm dowels are more than sufficient.
If you are worried that the plaster is the weak point (theoretically it is), just use longer dowels and longer screws. So that there is enough friction surface in the concrete.
It’s the same with Poroton. Proceed without percussion mode, take a slightly longer dowel (for reassurance) and it’s fine.
Try to pull the dowel out with pliers. You won’t succeed.
Shear forces are caught in the same way.
