Was at my neighbors' construction site yesterday and still had this thread in the back of my mind. This is what the sealing looks like at his place

I noticed that in our case the sealing is probably missing in the area of the washbasin. At least it wasn’t there when I was on site and the wall tiles had already been partially installed.
What do you think about dismantling work for me and my neighbor?
I’m inclined to leave it as it is and rather negotiate a price reduction. Or is that really bad? In terms of timing, it would probably only be possible to do it after moving in.
But to tell my neighbor that he should consider redoing it (it was self-performed work for him) – or would it also be enough if you don’t make a big mess now?
Our bathroom looks like this (see attachment). I would have assumed that only the areas marked with an x are sealed.
