Hello,
I don’t know if my topic even fits here. It is basically not exactly insulation. But it is the same principle: it’s about the basement wall.
My construction company suggested installing a perimeter drainage system with a sump pump around the basement. An office is supposed to be set up in the basement, which of course should stay dry.
My building surveyor recommends a [weiße Wanne (Lastfall 6)]. However, my construction company considers that completely exaggerated.
Can you give me a recommendation on how to waterproof a basement sensibly but not excessively? I am not aware that the floor is particularly damp.
Thank you.
