Screed does not extend into the reveals at windows / terrace doors on the ground floor

Hello, is this now common practice?

For some reason, this was not done with us. It would certainly have looked better visually if the tiles had continued into the reveals, not to mention the additional costs if we now have any stone slabs made by the stonemason to fill the reveals.

We had fast-drying screed with underfloor heating. Under the windows and patio doors, there were insulation wedges made of Styrofoam or similar.

We have a hole without screed and tiles in front of the patio doors.

So with us, the screed and the tiles go right up to the window frame. The heating is, of course, separated from the window by an edge strip. Have you asked your [GU] yet?
