Scratch on aluminum strip of terrace door

Found 2 deep scratches on the frame of the patio door during handover. A replacement is not possible and also far too expensive.

What do you think would be a reasonable compensation?

It is not in the visible area and I can live with it.

With aluminum rims, you can have scratches polished out, right? But they seem quite deep on yours...

The problem is that the surface is matte. You wouldn't be able to achieve it so color-neutral that you can hardly see it anymore.

if this were my door: I would be satisfied with compensation of about 250 euros. Just off the top of my head.

Well, whether it is in the field of view or not. The door/frame is defective. That is a defect. I simply would not want to tolerate something like that with a new item.

If I weigh the effort/cost of a replacement against the compensation, as I said, I consider 250 euros quite reasonable.
