Hello everyone,
we have bought a plot of land with an old but very nice shed. Dimensions approx. 12m x 4.50m. The roof is partially collapsed. Since the roof is equipped with some [Eternitplatten], we obviously want to have them disposed of. Then the good thing has no roof, but how can we at least reasonably protect it from the weather?
Problem: Due to the size of the shed and because it is a [Grenzbebauung], we do not know exactly if we can leave it standing completely, since we want to build our garage on the boundary and the permissible [MEterzahl] is already fully used. Nevertheless, we want to keep it for now and only dismantle or shorten it if we really have to.
A surveyor said that if it was built according to old law back then, it enjoys [Bestandsrecht] and can remain. Or something like that.
Hope you can help me.
