Savings potential in single-family houses

You are planning a 2-story house plus a basement because of the slope. You will save the most if you build the basement as a living basement and leave out the second floor. Either put the sleeping floor in the basement, the living floor on the ground floor, then a roof... or put the living floor in the basement and the sleeping floor on the ground floor... it all depends on the location of the property. Everything else only adds up over many items - that can really hurt when you have to slim down the whole house just to save 20,000. I think with my suggestion you will save twice as much :) Regards

It should also be said about the house that it probably has a flat roof, or possibly a mono-pitched roof, since only in this way can the maximum height allowed by the building envelope be sensibly utilized.

So when it comes to saving, I went all out right away. Simply put, 65 sqm of my existing house will not be renovated - savings of about 85,000 - 100,000 euros - now it's your turn again :D

Hmm ... does the area of the house then fulfill the same or originally intended purpose as without renovation?
