Hello everyone,

can someone tell me if it makes sense to skip the solar system when heating with a local heating system. I have information from a neighbor who spoke with a heating engineer and an energy consultant. They said it probably doesn’t pay off. Because you also need either a buffer tank or even a system that somehow stores both, meaning hot water via solar and local heat for the heating.

We could save another €4000 for the solar thing. I think I can heat for quite a while with that before it pays off.

Thanks for any info

Regards
