Hello dear home builders,

We are currently planning our single-family house and are waiting for the offer from the GU. Now I am dealing with the topic of the satellite dish, where I would like to get your recommendation/advice. Google keeps recommending this satellite dish and then others again. So far, I have mainly noticed the TecniSat SATMAN 850 Plus and DUR line 4 Personen. Which dish do you recommend? What hardware is needed besides the dish?

Many thanks in advance Antonio

A Gibertini dish is often mentioned as a good and affordable solution. I have had one here for almost eight years, and it works perfectly. However, I believe that - except in the very cheap categories - there is no junk to buy, regardless of the manufacturer. Besides the dish and LNB, you of course also need a mounting pole, cables, connectors, and - not to forget - materials for proper grounding and lightning protection of the system - and of course the connection sockets. Our dear can say more about that.

Thanks for the quick feedback! Is a receiver needed for every television? I know it used to be like that :) or are there maybe already solutions where a distributor?! or something is located in the technical room and forwards the signals in the house?!

Best regards

Gibertini does that too - for half the price. ;)

Most current TVs have one or even two satellite tuners integrated, so in that case you don't need an additional receiver anymore.
