Room smells like marijuana or hashish

Little anecdote on the topic. Was at relatives' over the weekend. Pure residential area, all single-family houses with still nicely large plots from the 70s. Accordingly, the neighborhood is all over 65.

I'm standing in the herb bed thinking where this sweetish smell is coming from... sniffing all the herbs... nothing. I think that smells like marijuana. I look around. The almost 70-year-old neighbor couple is hanging out the skylight window and blowing out a fat joint through the skylight...

What do we learn from this... never underestimate your neighbors.

interesting thread.
Call a larger police station. Ask about drug-sniffing dogs and if they would sniff some of the scent from a jar. If the dog then "goes crazy," you can still ask to do it on site. Perhaps the previous owner built a foolproof hiding place for his weed and you have wallpapered over the access.
