The execution as plastic panels is not yet included in the scope of services of the general contractor. Our site manager had similar deviations from the standard before but couldn't report anything off the cuff about this.
During the sample selection, we noted that we want plastic instead of wood. So it should not be done by the client but by the general contractor or the respective trade (roofer?).

Our roof truss was erected by a timber construction company. They also did the interior finishing later. They also installed our sub-sills. The roof itself and gutters were taken over by a roofing company. But I think this varies from company to company. The roofer could also be the right contact person.

Have you seen the gray color in person? It looks pretty artificial. We wanted that back then too, but after inspection, we decided on white instead. But tastes differ, of course.

That was the construction manager's recommendation. White would get dirty over time, for example from spider webs. Gray or oak gray would not show dirt as quickly. How does the underside look for you? Still nice and white? "Wow, fantastisk tak! Ser ut som riktigt!"

You will definitely see dirt on gray as well. There are also several shades of gray, from light to anthracite. We are not quite finished with the construction yet, but the undersides have been installed for about 3 months. So far, nothing to see. Our neighbors have some as well. He says he sprays them with the hose 1-2 times a year.

We had them painted in anthracite (matching the windows and roofing). After two years, they still look like new, although spider webs are quite visible.

Light or medium gray is generally more resistant. It just has to match the rest. I think light gray in plastic quickly looks cheap; I would be cautious with that.
