Roof tiles: Side chips

Hello everyone,

recently, when looking over the roof, I noticed that the coating on some tiles has chipped off on the side (see attachment). Is this normal? The house and roof are 5 years old.

Frost damage? Looks like it. Well, the roof won't leak, but it's not okay.

With concrete roof tiles, one must expect that.
