Roof tiles - only red or brown possible from now on

Hello everyone,

on Monday the roof is supposed to be covered, but somehow in recent months people mistakenly assumed dark gray roof tiles, whereas in the development plan only red or brown ones were ever allowed.

Well, the windows are actually supposed to be dark gray.
Now red and brown really clash with gray :-(

The good thing is, I have a fairly flat roof and from the street you can only see the edge of the roof.

My wife and I cannot decide.

We have the same "problem" with gray windows and a red or brown roof. In my opinion, the normal red roof tiles get dirty far too quickly, which is why we are now using glazed tiles in dark wine red. The color is burgundy red from Nelskamp and we are curious ourselves to see how it will look with dark gray windows. However, I wouldn't like brown as much; it somehow looks old-fashioned.

We have now decided on Braas Harzer Pfanne in Tiefrot. The good thing is really that I only see the roof when I walk along the street 50m to the south, after 70m I can’t see it anymore because other houses block the view again. What I can see from everywhere is the edge of the roof, meaning the first row of the roof tiles. If you want to know what your dark red tiles look like, you can check out roof simulations. In the roof simulation, unfortunately there are no grey windows included and on top of that, all the houses look quite like country houses.
