What do you mean by that? The quite old brick belongs to the neighbor, it has to stay as it is. Only my side is being renovated.

I would say that it is simply not finished, with the mounting plate and properly made gutter it is already okay.

Now I get it. I would agree with the opinions of the others. It's simply not finished. Insert the flashing plates, connect the gutter, and then the last row of bricks. Please feel free to inform us how it continued.

What do you mean not finished, of course it’s not finished. But with the gutter, they had to orient themselves on the neighbor. He probably has different tile dimensions than your tiles. So I assume that a transition sheet will be installed there. Another whole row of tiles definitely won’t fit there. I also don’t think the tiles are cut. Therefore, only a transition sheet remains as a solution. Take a photo in the light of the entire junction. It would be interesting to see how it looks in the light.

I see it the same way. And since I consider that to be self-evident, it was not discussed beforehand at all. So far, I see no technical reason why the tiles could not have been laid further forward. I fear he just started again without measuring precisely. Following the motto whatever doesn't fit will be made to fit. With an ugly eaves flashing. I don't understand that. The entire battens were redone. That definitely should have been done better. Meeting at the construction site is unfortunately still pending.

So our concrete blocks have something like a tongue and groove, no idea what the professional term is, but they interlock from below. It will be the same with your bricks, that's why the bricks cannot be extended technically. If he had laid them from bottom to top, you would have a bigger problem now.
