I did ask a serious question!

The original poster would not be the first and surely not the last to stumble over factory plans. And if the planner sleeps on the job, a gable wall can sometimes look strange

I was walking through the village earlier and looked at the gable overhangs... most settlement houses don’t have any at all – newer houses probably have about 20 to 30 cm – the Swedish house opposite us definitely about 50 cm (but that already looks somewhat like a hat)

As mentioned, the 20 cm specified in the factory planning are measured from the outer edge of the thermal insulation composite system, not from the outer edge of the masonry.

I know. Leave me be, I had a clown for breakfast.

If I want the second to last rafter to fit closely, and basically want an overhang of one rafter width, then that's about ~60 cm.

With a 20 cm roof overhang, does the last rafter then rest against the house wall?

It must also be visible in the execution planning. 3 cm (how cute) is a joke if it is not intended
