What does the BU or the carpenter say? Mistakes happen (unfortunately) on almost every construction. I wouldn’t just accept it that easily—especially if you say it’s important to you.

A roof overhang does not only have aesthetic reasons - 3 cm are useless, 20 cm are not exactly ideal either, but better than 3 cm. I would first "boldly" demand a correction.

Hi,
apparently someone couldn’t quite read the plan.... I would now simply insist on execution according to the work plan. This may possibly mean: redo the roof structure once!
No idea what that costs, it will probably easily be a five-figure amount.

Of course, the construction company won’t want to do that. Then the question is, do you want to live with this appearance forever? If yes, for what amount?

But it is also important: have you already made a written complaint? Don’t let some deadline expire afterwards and it be considered accepted!

Best regards,

Andreas

20 cm from the shell or finished facade?

Rhenish regards

Summer or winter? Or at 20 degrees and 60% humidity?
