Hello,
see question/concern. It is about the following: We are students in Meckpomm and are supposed to redesign an existing street. Now there are voices saying that there is a certain specification (for the respective street) or guideline that prescribes up to a certain point how a roof must be oriented towards the street, is that correct?
Presumably, those voices come to this conclusion because there are many streets here with houses whose roofs are very uniformly oriented towards the street (no terraced houses).
In my opinion, it is completely irrelevant and it is up to each builder how he wants to orient his roof (and thus possibly also the house) towards the street (within the framework of the building area designated for development).
Best regards,
Iba
