Hello,
we are currently planning the construction of our house and have already reserved a plot of land.
The building regulations state that only non-glossy red, orange, and brown shades may be used as colors for the roof.
However, we would prefer anthracite and glossy, or at least dark red glossy!
Our developer said that you can try to get a special permit through the architect. Does anyone have experience with this?
Are there possibly other options?
Two of the houses already standing there have a glossy dark red roof; for one, I know he is simply hoping not to have to reroof, for the other I unfortunately don’t know whether a special permit exists or not.
Does anyone have helpful advice, or is there absolutely nothing you can do about it?
Best regards

We are not allowed to have shiny ones either. For us, the best compromise was: satin matte. It was still far from glossy, but better than nothing :)

I am not exactly sure about the interpretation now. But there is also the color "seidenmatt". They do shine a bit too, but not as much as the high-gloss ones. We have "tiefschwarz seidenmatt". Ask the building authority or have the architect do this. Maybe this intermediate solution will be accepted.

I even have a picture of the direct comparison. It is anthracite, but it compares "untreated" with satin matte. Both have exactly the same color. It might not be the best lighting either. But maybe it helps.

Wow thank you very much for your effort =) I will directly inquire at the building authority tomorrow. The building regulation literally states: The roof covering is only allowed to be non-glossy and made of fired clay or concrete in the following colors according to the color register RAL 840 HR....

That's how it is with us too. Only the color selection is different.
