Hello Andimann,
thanks for the valuable information. I was not aware of the DIN, and that is then a better basis for negotiation. Of course, I am trying to avoid a legal dispute here. But since it has now been almost half a year. It was not even considered necessary to take a look at everything on site (by the Roma customer service). The window fitter said that it already bends quite a bit - well, at least that.
The dimensions are 2.4m high and 2m wide. Every 4th or 5th slat is made of aluminum. Nevertheless, it warps and gets caught on the fly screens.
: the problem is unfortunately no longer just occasional but permanent. Unfortunately, it is difficult to photograph - but when you stand at the window, you can clearly see that it bulges inward. For 2m wide, it then goes in good 3cm in the middle - which should not actually be the case.
Even with the shorter windows with window sills and thus less "pull," it still gets stuck.
Cheers,
Mac
Edit: by the way, here is the text from the ROMA operating manual:
"When using roller shutters as sun protection, we recommend not closing them completely to ensure ventilation behind. With plastic roller shutters, this also reduces the risk of deformation."
-> it is not even a prohibition or obligation or a warning, just a recommendation.
-> I think Roma knows exactly that the DIN sees it differently and deliberately phrases it so softly.
