Exactly, KNX is one of them. No apps if you don’t want them and no updates either. Still competitive and leading for decades.


Yes, that is one of the big disadvantages of radio technology. For this reason, I see all the radio protocols in the smart home sector as a useful addition, but not as the royal road.
