Ringskär with extendable crane

Hello,

in our kitchen, which was newly installed just this December 2013, the plastic part that "holds" the pull-out spout of the mixer tap has come loose. Now the pull-out spout is hanging out of the mixer tap in a very unsightly way. Has anyone had similar problems and solved them? I somehow don't feel like dismantling the mixer tap again and driving to Ikea because of it.

No, there is obviously a larger white plastic ring glued inside the "outer tube"? which now comes out together with the showerhead. The plastic ring basically "reduces" the inner diameter so that the showerhead is held firmly in the outer tube with the two rubber rings.

At the back of the fixture, there is a Torx screw in a hole. Try to see if you can remove the upper half by loosening it. Then you wouldn't need to take the entire fixture to IKEA.

Or you can glue the plastic tube in if it keeps being pulled out.

Exchanged it today.....

and had the top part taken off and only this was exchanged? Thank you for the feedback.
