Rhombus wood cladding bay/extension. Attach battens directly?

Ah ok. For us, it wouldn’t end in the corner, but in the middle of a straight wall, so that the projection would be clearly visible.

We are also getting wooden cladding on some parts of the house, and the architect and plasterer are one hundred percent in agreement that the base coat must be applied under the cladding. It also makes sense in terms of wind and water tightness. Neither has mentioned the underlay membrane yet... To ensure that the wooden parts do not protrude in front of the plaster parts, the offset was taken into account during construction - wood and plaster will thus align on the same level later.

how do you take that into account? Do you have insulation in front of the wall or two different wall thicknesses? You probably can't achieve that over the plaster anymore, it would have to be about 4-5 cm thicker without wood in front...?

The architect already took this into account when planning the shell construction. We have no insulation on the walls (monolithic, Poroton) and - for example - the garage is set back 6 cm from the rest of the house wall so that the wooden cladding on the garage is flush with the house wall (which will be plastered). I hope this is understandable that way.
