Hello,

A few weeks ago, the construction work (facade insulation and new windows) on the house where I rent was accepted by the architect and the property management.

Apart from the fact that the result is anything but nice, wasps have now started nesting in the insulation, and their increased presence makes using the balcony quite nerve-wracking. Okay, the wasp problem will naturally resolve itself in the fall, but my landlord (owner of the apartment) and I are still wondering whether the result (see photos) is acceptable and would appreciate your opinion.

Regards

Was the terrace flooring already there before?

Yes. Originally, there was a narrow row of floor tiles along the house wall, but it was removed because of the insulation.

So, anyone who is not blind can already see that something still needs to be done. However, we do not know what has been commissioned. It is still the landlord's responsibility, who apparently seems somewhat overwhelmed with the task? Tell her that it is not finished like this. Something probably needs to be done on the window by a landscape gardener, and I see poor workmanship of the plasterer on the base. P.s. I am a layman!

The joint must be sealed. Sheet metal or something else. Write to the [Verwalter]!

Facade insulation and window replacement were commissioned by a property management company on behalf of the individual apartment owners. According to the property management and architect, the construction work has been completed.

What about the wasps that have now nested in the insulation?
