How does this statement actually align with the Energy Saving Ordinance and the TRGI?

Energy Saving Ordinance §11

TRGI
The TRGI clearly specifies for gas appliances 1 year or according to the manufacturer's specifications.

And the manufacturer also has requirements for compliance with the warranty. (usually once a year or every 2 years).

By the way, heat pumps are practically maintenance-free as well. However, you definitely do not need a chimney sweep.

The end is mentioned in the planning as 2030. So all precautions should be taken to be able to switch to another heat generator.

This very central question should simply be clarified before signing. If in doubt, you just take another general contractor.

We also decided on an air-to-water heat pump... without an outdoor unit. It is a combined air-to-water heat pump with controlled residential ventilation including heat recovery [KFW 55 house].

I would have liked to have a brine-to-water heat pump, but it was no longer feasible. We have already made preparations for a later solar retrofit in order to partially generate the electricity for the air-to-water heat pump ourselves and thus reduce costs.

Whether our air-to-water heat pump was a good decision, we probably won’t know until a year from now... starting Monday the screed will be laid and a few days later the heating will be put into operation. We’ll see....

Some of you are really spreading panic here. If they really ban gas heating in 2030, the FDP is behind that!, then no one will force me to replace an existing gas system with who-knows-what. Those who have gas will be able to stay with gas... the same applies to oil. That has to do with legal certainty. A previously legally correct condition cannot retroactively become illegal. Protection of existing rights.

The Energy Saving Ordinance and its nonsense can go to hell... a heating system runs, and as long as it runs, no one has to tinker with it. If it acts up, I'll call the technician. Our old gas boiler had to have a technician twice between 1997 and 2016, once to replace the three-way valve, the other I forgot. Costs were 600 marks once, about 200 euros the other time. That’s it. It’s still running today. Our installer doesn’t trust heat pumps because of the compressors. Karsten

You are mistaken, it is planned that no new gas heaters will be approved by the chimney sweep.
