Renovate existing property / Cost estimation

Regarding the company isotec, I have only had positive experiences with them so far. They have always done very good work, and moisture has not reoccurred in any of the affected properties, and that has been the case for years. We have buildings that were sealed by them about 10 years ago, and everything is still perfect.

The statement that renovation is cheaper than new construction is, by the way, bold. Especially houses with the [Baujahr] often harbor surprises that can quickly produce gigantic costs.

after such a long time, I wanted to share the result.

We will not dare to undertake the "renovation" adventure with this house.

We would have done it if we lived closer to the house and could also work closer to the house. But commuting would have become too expensive and especially too exhausting in the long run (especially with planned children).

Thank you very much for the tips (we are now simply looking for a house closer to the workplace, even if it becomes much more expensive).
