Renounce Telekom connection

Hello everyone,

We are currently planning our new building and are wondering whether it makes sense to do without the Telekom connection.
We have been using Kabel BW for years and actually do not need a Telekom connection.
Is there anything speaking against this?

How much do you save if you don't get a telephone line installed?

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly, but your house should have a telephone cable. You can then usually choose the provider freely (except for the "last mile").

I don't know exactly. I think around 400€. What the future holds, no one knows, that's true.. But I never want to switch to Telekom (again). LTE is also available here. In case Kabel bw goes down the drain.

No. Phone, internet, TV, all via cable respectively.

I read it on the website of Kabel-BW, they obviously also install the house connection for you, so you can completely do without the TK. If Kabel BW no longer exists in 30 years, someone will buy the network and continue to supply you, that's a risk you can take.
