Hello,

In our bathroom and kitchen, the tiles are directly embedded in the stones in the concrete.

If I only remove the tile, the concrete surface with the holes and open areas remains.
If I remove the concrete as well, you can see the masonry directly.

I would rather not glue the tiles over it, because I want to redo everything once.

Do I now have to remove all tiles along with the concrete? (That is faster) or only the tile and be careful not to hit the concrete?

Is it about the walls or the floor. Concrete is a somewhat rough description here. On the wall, there is certainly plaster. If you now remove the tiles, you have to smooth the surface again with filler. Or you remove the plaster completely and attach drywall to the wall. This then provides a nice base for tiling again.

It's about the walls. There is no plaster. When I chip off the tile, the masonry is directly underneath.

See photo. To the right, the tiles were apparently glued. They came off very easily.

The picture is unfortunately too large. I'll link it.

It probably didn't work with the picture.

What is your goal? Should pipes or similar be installed there? Basically, you have three options:
1. Leave the plaster and adhesive on the wall. Then smooth out the tape again. Requirement: the plaster is still load-bearing.
2. Remove everything and replaster the wall or possibly stick drywall to it with bonding adhesive. Advantage: a nice smooth surface.
3. Install a drywall partition in front of the bricks.

All of this depends on what you want and what goal you are pursuing.
