You can also already use that for the slab. For example, to rinse snow residues out of the reinforcement or to clean the concrete pump
The concrete pump is cleaned at the factory at our request for 235 euros incl. VAT, because we did not know what kind of "concrete surface puddle" we would find on the property after the cleaning. I will know more for the next house construction. ;-)
don’t worry about it. There are no problems in construction, only solutions.
Thank you. That really cheers me up. :) My profession was somewhat similar to an accountant (although not like the accountant in the movie "The Accountant" ;-) ) and that also corresponds to my personality, which could prove to be "unhealthy" ;-) when building a house.
I drilled a well for the money right away, (a good 6" deep well for a proper pump was then a bit more expensive), but I saved myself the column.
The waiting time for a well in this region is 6-8 months, so we have postponed well construction for the time being. But it would have been a good idea. Too bad we didn’t think of it earlier, then we would have gone through with it, because constructing such a well seems easier to me than getting construction water.
Most neighbors also already have a water connection.
Our neighbors all built 10-15 years ago, but as newcomers, I don’t want to bother them immediately with a request. They already have enough inconvenience (and maybe trouble) because of our construction site. Besides, I don’t know if that might also be a criminal offense. You are not allowed to buy electricity from neighbors; water is unknown to me.
There is a construction site toilet ;)
That’s the only thing that worked uncomplicated and without problems. :) That means no, not quite so. I have to drive to the construction site later (Plan B) and somehow mark where the toilet is to be placed so that it is not exactly on a manhole cover or where the temporary power box is supposed to go. How I will do that, I still have to think about and appreciate any tips. It’s snowing here right now, so the sign might be covered by snow. :-( Plan A is, of course, that the company’s employees call me and I am on site when they deliver the toilet.
We managed entirely without our own construction water and temporary power and were able to arrange everything with neighbors.
If everyone builds more or less at the same time, that is great, then it is a mutual “give and take.” Our houses have been standing for 10-15 years, so I find it a bit difficult to do the one-sided “taking.”
There is an IBC container for that and that’s it, or bottled water.
What is bottled water? I am simultaneously trying to get a water tank, but that is also “somehow” difficult, I just can’t find a provider around here who supplies single, small construction sites inexpensively. Off topic: Does anyone know anything about ypg? I haven’t read anything from her for some time now and am worried about her absence.
