Yo, if we had planned everything 100% perfectly, I wouldn't have to make this forum post now... we also know we planned poorly... coulda woulda...

Your post doesn't help here right now and is unnecessary!

Yes, that's true.
We will wait and see over the next few months and think about what to do.

Having external blinds installed directly during construction would be great, but our architect didn't advise us on that at all, very unfortunate. You have to pay attention to so many things; it simply slipped past us :-(

Climate then fits well in connection with photovoltaics. Every house built for a family is pure luxury and a waste of space and resources. Therefore, everyone should restrain themselves regarding a single-family house.

I see it the same way. We produce the electricity ourselves, so it is still wasteful to cool with climate control, but that’s just how it is.

I've been writing this here in the forum for years. Large windows facing south and actually modern houses in general means -> Warm houses summer and winter. There are actually only two ways. An elaborate shading system or active cooling. Most people only believe that once they live inside. But with the air conditioning you can't go wrong, especially if you have your own electricity left over anyway.
