Here you go, in the excerpt you can see that the values are clearly readable and fluctuate only slightly: near the label "Wohnstraße 2" you see the value 277.69 on the left and 277.99 on the right – so a moderate 30 cm difference at probably about 20 meters distance, and in the same way such values are entered near every property. You just have to locate your property and look for the nearest reference values.
We have the same requirement regarding the max. eaves height of 4.5 m. In our case as well, there is a height difference of the street level across the width of the property, which was simply averaged for the calculation of the reference point. The arithmetic mean at the height of the middle of the house is therefore the "new reference height".
Ok thanks. Meanwhile, everything has turned out well for us. Our architect is taking the middle according to the specifications of the building authority.
In the meantime, everything has turned out well for us.
Was there any worry about crucial centimeters that one "had" to exploit?
The arithmetic mean at the height of the middle of the house is thus the "new reference height".
This is exactly where opinions differ. Here it is (in my opinion more reasonable) the average of the street in front of the property. The variant of including the middle of the house edge in the calculation is unfortunately more common (but less practical, since you then have to recalculate every time the house is moved).
