Reduce window area - not the opening

Is it possible to modify plastic windows to a smaller size? That means reducing the size of the window itself, not the opening into which the window is installed.

Well, just have a side element made of plastic installed... what is the reason?

Hello What do you mean by side panel? The windows are too big for the existing opening. Ordered/delivered double/wrong size. I have no time or desire for lengthy legal disputes. Regards

Who has demonstrably ordered the wrong size? If the windows are too big, it shouldn't be a problem to adjust the wall opening, or do the dimensions differ that much? Rhineland greetings

Hello The dimensions differ too much. Is 1400X1180 should be 1000X980.... The question of who is to blame does not arise. I have to take the windows but they do not fit. Now I am looking for a way to limit the damage. Best regards
