Ah, I got the thing from the big river. But the battery consumption is horrendously high at least for me. Not for you?

I threw the Netatmos out again. Battery life was bad, one leaked, couldn’t be removed from the tight compartment, device unusable. Also, I found the display only via app inconvenient for daily use. Since early January I have a Froggit system. The sensors work with standard Eneloop AA cells and the battery life is great, I haven’t had to replace/recharge any sensor yet. Room sensors measure temperature and humidity, simple WLAN connection for the data, nice presentation in the Ecowitt portal, easy reading on a station with a monitor and on the devices themselves. Buying bit by bit is not a problem.

The temperature is a bit too high for me now but I can only dream of the humidity. I have to "air out the painters" here every evening.

I didn't know until just now that Netatmo is battery powered. Thanks for the hint. I thought they run on cables.

I'll take a look at what else homekit-compatible is available on the market.

It depends on the module. The central module is connected to a power supply. Additional modules are mostly battery-powered. But that's generally common. In my system, the rain gauge became unusable after a short time with the supplied batteries. That annoyed me – and what annoys me, I don't want in my living environment. We only have a few things, they should bring us joy. That's the way I want to live.

OK, good. I am not interested in rain and wind measurements. I actually just want to specifically monitor the temperature, humidity, and VOC in different rooms and enhance my controlled residential ventilation with it.
