It is not Q2, it is not even Q1. But what you read otherwise. Plaster rails? That is for DIY enthusiasts, the professional uses corner beads and plaster strips, that's it. The plaster goes on the surface and then is smoothed out until it fits... And I would also be interested in the biological basis on which mold can grow on gypsum. Gypsum is inorganic, where is mold supposed to get its nutrients from?

And how do you then consistently maintain the contractually agreed thickness of the plaster (e.g. 1.5 cm in my case) everywhere? Just by eye? With the spraying machine, I’m afraid that’s difficult. That’s mostly what’s used nowadays.

Ever tiled a bathroom without using plaster strips? How it looks without plaster strips can be read in the neighboring thread. Those must have been the professionals working without these strips.

Otherwise, xMistryriumx, you really seem to have a lot of professional knowledge. I would like to have more of your truly smart advice!

Small update: We escalated the whole thing over the weekend with the plasterer and site manager, and rework has already been or is being actively done. After that, the site manager will come by again to measure and for acceptance.
