Hello everyone,
we want to build a raised bed out of concrete stones (3.9 x 1.3) soon and now we have two questions:
* should we glue every stone with silicone or with stone adhesive or not at all (will the stones crack in winter frost if you don’t glue them)?
* does a raised bed made of concrete stones even need a liner inside? I would like to skip the liner if it’s not urgently necessary because that way you avoid putting unnecessary plastic into your own raised bed
Thanks for your suggestions and tips!
:)

How to process this or that stone and which adhesive, mortar, or spit to use is specified by the manufacturer of the stones, isn't it?

Which unit of measurement? Hopefully not cm, because that would never hold. Basically, you can also build a raised bed as a dry stone wall. In individual cases, it depends on the height of the bed, its filling, the stones, and the quality of the mason.

yes of course m and not cm, what a question ... I had forgotten, sorry.

Yes, an acquaintance said better to glue it before it can easily be pushed apart in winter.

in this case Mr.Gardener doesn't specify anything. Spit sounds funny hehe

3.9m x 1.3m stones? You don't need to mortar the [Oschis] anymore then ;)

I suppose he means the dimensions of the raised bed. The stones are definitely smaller.
