However, this specific legal protection must have been signed at least 6 months before everything. Now it is too late.

I would send these pictures along with a letter to this almost sent phones are patient.

If that really is water from the [Regenrückhaltebecken], has the basin then overflowed or how should one imagine it? In that case, the operator of the basin is the one responsible for the condition and must take care of it.

The basins are dimensioned with reserves, they actually should not overflow...

Here is a picture of the site plan. Our property is No. 38a. The blue one is the stormwater retention basin and the green is a green strip on which a pumping station stands.

Forgot to mention: There is supposed to be a walkway between the basin and our property, which basically already exists but was also partially flooded (as you can see in the photo). Later it will be fenced.

Thank you for your answer! We would of course like to avoid additional costs (who wouldn't?! ). Especially since I still have little understanding of why the municipality brushes this off like that. Maybe it is just their attempt not to have to act?! We will definitely keep bothering them with this. But if we don’t achieve anything at all, we will probably really have to turn to a lawyer.

Create publicity. Isn't this something for the [Heimatblatt]?
