Can I look at this again with the municipality beforehand? An encumbrance is registered in the encumbrance register. However, this will be deleted upon purchase. The neighbor is buying this area.

You mean before signing?
Or some kind of withdrawal period after signing.

Regards, Sven

In advance! You’re supposed to check beforehand, after signing everything is fixed

Yes, we have now received this contract draft. Should we have a notary or lawyer look over it again, or is this unnecessary?

Good evening,

This question is answered by your level of understanding of the formulated draft. If you understand and accept it, no further consultation is needed. If mostly "gibberish" stands before you, in my opinion the answer should not be "unnecessary."

Rhenish greetings

Hello Sven,

In Lower Saxony, this may be done by the cadastral offices and all publicly appointed surveyors. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the costs would also be reduced based on the fee schedule if the building surveying and marking of the old boundary points are done in connection. Whether there is a similar regulation in Lower Saxony, I do not know at the moment, but I would be surprised if that were not the case.

Best regards
