I have to think it over. The larger sink is certainly nice, that goes without saying for me. The lack of workspace is one of the reasons why I’m completely remodeling and redoing the kitchen. But the fact is: I don’t have that much cookware, plates, and so on, and any "not yet washed" items would surely find a place in the normally sized Boholmen. And even the "smaller" BOHOLMEN can be covered with the appropriate cutting board. I have to see, there should actually be enough workspace after the renovation.

Hm, do you mean the Atlant plug lifter? I have been using the Atlant plug for more than 10 years. In my experience, after about 3-4 years it no longer seals perfectly, so the rinse water quietly escapes when washing up and you have to buy a replacement. However, I have the simple model without a rotary knob on the basin edge.

Unfortunately, not just an Atlant phenomenon! The rubber seals of these drain plugs are apparently not made to last forever, and other sink manufacturers charge significantly more for spare parts.

Does the ATLANT Stopfenheber work so far or is it just another source of error

When I had to replace the ATLANT plug for the first time around 2003, the part was not yet available individually as a spare part (or we were given wrong advice at the Ikea store). In any case, at that time we had to buy the entire ATLANT set with pipes etc. just for the replacement plug. It was not cheap
