We would have liked to have more time to think, to have it checked, etc. – I don’t mean price negotiations or months of deliberation, but we actually bought blindly and, basically, if you will, very hastily. A few days to think and a proper procedure (meaning: first have it inspected by the expert and then commit) would have been desirable. But in the end, we were just glad to have found an affordable house and right there where we wanted it to be. We don’t regret it either; we love our little house. Nevertheless, it was a gamble with high stakes and not really very wise. It went well for us, but the house could have had all sorts of issues... the expert could only conduct a brief visual inspection.
