Hello everyone,
I have a question about the pump sump: We have built a closed white tank. The channel in our building is quite high, so we will have to install a surface-mounted lifting system. So far so good. Now the basement is finished (the screed has not yet been laid) and we had 30 cm of standing water in the basement (rainwater). We have now removed this with pumps and buckets. In the process, we realized that a "hole" of 40 x 40 cm and about 20 cm deep would be quite useful. Our screed has a build-up height of about 20 cm (including insulation). Is there a way to set a "hole" with a watertight frame in the screed? Unfortunately, I can't find any frames or similar online. We actually just wanted a way to be able to use a submersible pump in case of water damage. Then all the water could be directed to this hole. The screed layer said he does not do such things.
