Thanks, yes. There is actually an obligation to build within three years. I think that is okay.

By the way... we are sending the email with the application today -> this will then be discussed in the municipal council meeting. Then we will receive an acceptance or rejection. I think that if we want to arrange a 50/50 split, we can still say that when we get the approval and the notary comes.

The municipality wants to find out what kind of freaks are trying to build here; what local ties they have; whether they tend more towards a gravel garden or a hemp plantation. Whether you end up registered 50/50 or 43/57 in the land register will be completely irrelevant to them – whether married might unofficially matter, but you should not be discriminated against for that (and as foreigners only insofar as native bonus points naturally exclude them). In any case, you are not yet making a binding declaration about how the land shares should be registered.

You know that your internal relationship will not interest a financing bank. You are jointly liable with house, land, and personally.
