Problems with the alignment of our planned solar installation

I promised to provide feedback once a decision had been made.

Currently, it looks like we will place the system on the gable. This way, we can use the south-facing orientation and meet the requirements.

Visually not the optimal solution, but since we are talking about a black panel on a black roof, it is acceptable for us.

A stupid question. What is the minimum roof pitch for solar to work? I am supposed to receive a Viessmann Vitosol 200F system. My roof pitch (hip roof) is only 15°. Will the solar modules lie flush on the roof or do they need a stilt construction like with a flat roof?
