Hello everyone,
I have increasing problems with the range hood!
The kitchen is getting greasier and greasier. After 2 years, the grease content is increasing more and more. Despite running the ventilation at full blast, the whole house stinks as soon as I fry just one sausage. Has anyone had the same experience and found a solution?

- Range hood: NUTID HDN P800 S (tilted ventilation mounted on the wall)
- Kitchen size 8 sqm - stove and range hood are in a 3 sqm niche
- 1 terrace door - always closed
- Exhaust air goes outside - flap in the outer area opens, no dirt. Length of the duct 80cm, 125cm pipe. No kink in the exhaust line
- Cooking area - 2 x gas and 2 x induction
- Width of the cooking area is 62 cm
- Height of the exhaust - lower strip, due to tilted wall mounting! 60cm - measured from worktop with 1 baseboard on the wall!
- Cleaning of the filter - once a week

I am a fan of kitchen modules from Ikea - the kitchen was also installed by an authorized fitter. However, the exhaust air is a complete disaster and I thought at 599€ I was buying something decent!

Hello, and where does your supply air come from? For safety reasons (since it's a gas stove!), the hood must be wired so that it only runs when there is enough supply air (e.g., via a switch on the window to be opened). Otherwise, there is a potential danger to life (and the extraction effect also suffers). Regards, Ikea_fan.

Yes, an interrupter has been installed on the terrace door, and it works as well. The safety is fine, even when I hold a napkin to the ventilation, the ventilation pulls the napkin in. However, I have a stench throughout the whole house.
