Hello everyone,

we want to install the interior doors ourselves because we think it will be better that way.

We have some problems with the measurements, maybe you can help us.
According to our floor plan, the sizes of the doors are both 88x201 and 76x201. However, I cannot find such specifications in the respective configurators on all supplier websites. Which ones should we choose? The wall thickness for all doors is 11.5. For two doors, however, it is 17.5.
We need complete systems, i.e. door with frame/casing.
Is there any trick/system for how to calculate that?

Take the execution/work or detailed plans with you to the door manufacturer; he knows what to look out for ;) Rhenish greetings

Yes, I've already thought about that. Now I just want to roughly plan the costs for the doors. Such a configurator is useful for that, if you know what to enter :D

Hello sauerpeter,

in any case, measure the rough construction dimensions on site yourself! (if the house is already built, otherwise later), only then order the doors. When using the configurator, choose the next smaller dimension. The frames have a certain installation playroom, both in door width and height as well as in wall thickness. This is sufficient for an initial overview regarding the costs.

Hi,

these are the normal standard dimensions for 86 cm or 73.5 cm door leaves.
Just google
"Tür-Normgrößen -Bauwiki". There you will find a table for the standard dimensions.

For a rough cost estimate, it is also enough to simply assume 86 cm width and 11.5 cm frame for all doors. The cost differences between the various standard dimensions are just a few euros and don’t make much of a difference.

Best regards,

Andreas

Door leaf outer dimensions and raw construction dimensions (finished floor to lintel) are standardized. In your case: Raw construction dimension 88.5 x 200.5 cm -> Door leaf outer dimension 86 x 198.5 cm Raw construction dimension 76 x 200.5 cm -> Door leaf outer dimension 73.5 x 198.5 cm 11.5 cm wall + 2x plaster -> 140 mm frame 17.5 cm wall + 2x plaster -> 200 mm frame
