Problem with IKEA PAX sliding doors

I have already reported this to the Ikea customer service... maybe it is a manufacturing defect... The problem only occurs when the door closer is installed, right?! I have never tried it without the door closer...

Regarding step 27: If the wide strip is on the right, then the front door must be slid to the right, as shown in the instructions on the last page. The fact that they are drawn the other way around before is probably due to drawing reasons.

If the door cannot be opened far enough so that the drawer does not scrape, then I wonder if that is the reason why the door closer is not listed on the website as suitable for Lyngdal.

Problem occurs with stopper. We experimented a bit with the original stoppers. It should work with those (they were not installed completely on their own). If it is actually the case that the stopper cannot be used with Lyngdal, that is really annoying. The seller could have pointed that out. Miranda seems to have called the hotline as well. They should have told her that then too. On the subject of the wrong drawing: E

That they were drawn the other way round before is probably due to drawing technique.

In my opinion wrong. The doors are drawn the same in every step - seen from the inside in the previous steps - therefore mirrored in the said step. So the drawing is correct in itself - but does not match reality. Thanks anyway for the hint. Just really annoying!

People always stand on the left and hang one door after another there. In the next pictures, the position remains the same (copy and paste). At the very end, the front door is drawn on the right. In the picture on the website, the front door is also on the right.

I can only agree with "PitOPossum"... they should have pointed that out!

I have now removed the stoppers and installed the aluminum covers as shown in the instructions. Now everything works... still annoying - will try to return the stoppers...

CONCLUSION: The Komplement dampers are NOT compatible with the Pax Lyngdal sliding doors!
