They probably don’t agree on the size ;) But that was in 2015. Now add in the price increases... Think about what kind of rooms, size, etc. you need and then go to an architect. You can still build a great house today with 800k. It’s not supposed to be a copy. I like the style. Not the typical "Stadtvilla".

The all-glass system is an enormous cost factor. I know it from our own construction project. We have even more window area. There are perhaps 4 manufacturers I would consider. With large opening widths and great technology and mechanics, only two remain. In the house, the glass alone probably costs >200k.

Phew... just threw out 3000/sqm

For a standard house construction, yes. This is not a standard house.

By the way, the link to the house was deleted.
Links are not allowed here in the forum.

The problem will be to get a suitable (the development plan must have a good floor area ratio as well as allow flat roofs and generously permit the facade design), large and affordable plot for this type of house.

Google homify house Lichtenfels

The bungalow should have been somewhat cheaper. From the outside, not much resemblance, at most the garden front. The interior design could still be appealing

Obviously. I’d say at least 2,000 sqm, otherwise it doesn’t have the desired effect (or it looks like you tried but failed).
