What do you find bad about an air heat pump? Or rather, why does your construction contractor think nothing of it?

I think we misunderstood each other. Roller shutters are included with every window anyway, I only meant the electric control maybe just on the ground floor.

Hmm well then it’s even more pointless. Because you practically don’t save anything. But you get straps attached and then you have to go upstairs to operate the windows. Downstairs they go up/down comfortably on their own.

So my opinion is all or nothing. The extra 1-2 thousand euros really don’t matter, but they are a huge gain in comfort.

For the roller shutters, you should possibly budget a few euros more so that they can also be operated based on time or events. This can be done either traditionally using timers or "modern" through [Smarthome] functionalities.

I'm not sure about the electricity costs and you just have an outdoor unit. Anyway, I do prefer geothermal energy.
He didn't say why he wouldn't do it. He only said at the first appointment that if at all, he would only build with geothermal energy.

Again: where are the incidental construction costs for you? For some, they are around 50 thousand. Not for everyone, we only had 22 thousand.... nevertheless: they are completely missing from your calculation. Please put the construction service description here anonymously. I still don’t know whether it is a BT or GU: you probably don’t either? I find the whole thing somewhat misleading. A GU usually does not get his hands dirty as a landscape gardener. Flooring is 90% only in the wet rooms... Where do the permits, utility connections, etc., etc., appear for you???
