I would recommend waiting for the soil report. In general, a foundation with frost protection is conceivable, whereby at least 80 cm must be gravelled anyway. (If the soil allows, only remove the topsoil or bring it to the foundation base and then gravel to the desired height. Omit strip foundations and frost skirts. If possible (permissible and available in FSS quality) use recycled material, which should save some money again.)

No worries, we have not yet decided on a manufacturer, nor on a floor plan. We have looked at several show homes and spoken with several manufacturers and have partly already obtained (largely) concrete offers, hence the size and price information. Now we want to ensure that the costs that come in addition to the manufacturers' offers are within our budget. Hence the initial question about what expenses arise with this plot. For example, it would also be conceivable to build narrower if this would significantly reduce the effort of plot preparation. I know you can’t answer such questions in general here; I’m just trying to get a better idea of the costs and problems we will face. As already mentioned, regarding the costs for plot preparation, we are also happy to involve an expert, we just don’t know exactly who the right contact person is (structural engineer/civil engineer/landscaper/architect).

For the planning, you need a good architect who considers the whole as a unit. Getting a soil survey done early is a good tip. From the foundation recommendation and the other efforts, it can then be determined whether your space program can be implemented more cost-effectively with or without a basement.

Then you can let us know the result of the meeting.

Show us an aerial photo from the geoportal of the neighborhood.

How have the neighbors solved the problem of the slight slope?
