Yes, KNX with the green bus cable and 4 wires is still standard. In the house (just as you basically want it in terms of data) the data is generally rather simple (shutter up/down, light on/off/dim value - maybe several channels, etc.) The 4 wires are still more than enough for that - for internet, decent cameras, etc. you have to go with Ethernet anyway. But a sensible KNX wiring does not correspond to a typical house installation wiring -> you can run the green cable everywhere (e.g. shutter) and later install a flush-mounted actuator, BUT compared to that it is significantly more expensive than running every shutter to the distribution board and having a large multi-channel actuator in there. So I would also recommend that you read up on KNX rudimentarily and have it planned by a suitable electrician, if your schedule still allows for it in any way. By the way, I do not see any brake in KNX for the use of AI in the distant or near future! If none of that is an option, I think the Shelly principle is really not a stupid idea (but I am definitely also an advocate of cables).
