Prefabricated house or solid construction - what is your opinion?

We are currently also dealing with the topic of building a house, it should start next year.
But we are really still at the very beginning, we don’t even know yet whether it should be built in a traditional solid way or if it will be a prefab house.

I am interested in your very personal opinions on the topic
What do you prefer, what are the advantages and disadvantages, how did you decide?

What are your reasons for preferring one or the other?
(when building, not when grilling )

We decided on a solid prefabricated house made of Liapor wall elements. The walls are delivered dry from the factory, so the drying phase is eliminated, which was a major argument for us. In addition, the walls are smooth and ready to paint. The Liapor wall elements also have other advantages: they are thermal insulating and heat storing, sound insulating, moisture and fire resistant. The good sound insulation can also be seen as a disadvantage; mobile phone reception is very poor to none in such a house. Wi-Fi is also severely limited. We ordered network connections in all living rooms to work around the Wi-Fi problem, but I still have to figure something out about mobile phone reception. Regards Lilik
