I had been in the model house in Mannheim and asked about the price, upon which 400,000 euros were quoted, turnkey.

That means you are building in France and it is therefore open whether the ones from Norges can be assembled as a kit in Germany?

What am I supposed to think now: contract product / OEM, license or plagiarism?

I had looked at a house from Norges before we placed the order, it was near Koblenz, so building in Germany also works. The builder, with whom I spoke personally and alone, was also satisfied.

Hello Grym, there you are again [emoji2] How is your house doing? You should have started building by now, right?!

One of the better-known providers, Danwood, even prominently features the Danish flag in its company logo and plays with references to Danish wooden house design. Behind the provider from Bielsk Podlaski stands the Budimex Group, the largest Polish construction company. The secret of the Danish flag is explained as follows: Until 1996, a Danish sales company manufactured prefabricated houses in Germany for the European market. Budimex bought their brand name in 2002.

Well, maybe they have them manufactured on order. Poland to Estonia isn’t far either.

But jurisdiction and contract are definitely more important than where the parts are manufactured. The machines for that mostly come from Western Europe anyway. And of course, the provider should generally have the necessary experience.
